Forming in 2014 for a special gig at county show, Wayward have been at the heart of Orkney’s music scene ever since. Having played at major events across the county from Shopping Week, Rugby 7’s, show dances and weddings alike, the band plays a wide range of music keeping country music at its core. Front and center is the partnership of Ailsa Bichan’s soulful lead vocal and Alice Tait’s fiddle and vocal that gives the band its unique sound. Supported by a backing band of some of the best kent faces in Orkney’s music scene and a set list that will take you on a journey through some of your fondest musical memories. Wayward will make sure you’re on your feet dancing and singing all night long.
