Amenities on Burray

On-site food, a festival bar, and local cafés are available. Shops are limited, so bring supplies — and book meals early at the Sands Hotel.

Food and drink

There will be a bar situated in the marquee and teas and food will be available from food vans on-site.

There is also a bar and restaurant in The Sands Hotel 5 minutes walk from the main site. It has a bar menu for lunches and dinners, there may be waits at certain times as it will be busy! You will need to book in advance for the restaurant.

There is a wonderful café in Burray, the Polly Kettle, which serves lunches and incredible cakes with an Egyptian heritage.

There is also a new café opening in June 2025 at The Fossil Centre, The Relic Cafe, which we’re excited to try!

St. Margaret’s Hope is just 4 miles away and has meals available at both the Murray Arms seafood restaurant and Robertson’s Coffeehoose Bar.

Shops

The nearest shops for general groceries are in St Margaret’s Hope which is around 10 minutes’ drive.

Burray does not have a shop so it is advisable to bring any supplies you need with you, particularly if you are camping.

Car parking

Burray is a small village so on street parking is limited. Free car parking will be available for those attending the festival on the field opposite the festival. There will be no parking on the roads around the festival.

Please take care crossing any roads between the parking and the festival site.
