Pete and Vanessa, neighbours from Burray, would liked to have formed Marram Grass much earlier than they did but thanks to lockdown and the art of social distancing they had to make do with shouting at each across the bus to make plans for their future world domination.
Once sweet freedom was achieved, they met up to discuss their love of all things music but mostly cats. Amongst the chattering and laughter emerged the melodic bluegrass and delightful harmonies that they now pride themselves on. The Marram Grass ethos is a passion to learn, play and share music whilst having fun and building friendships. Everyone is invited to join in, sing along, dance and experience the joy that music and friends can bring.
