Mockingbird formed in 2023, performing original material and carefully-chosen covers. Inspired performances and well-crafted arrangements saw the band become one of the leading lights of the Orkney music scene. Their approach is simple and direct; classic roots ‘n’ rock, steeped in the blues.
With the addition of guitarist Stewart Shearer in 2026, the band has opened itself to a wider country influence, which will be apparent at this year’s Water Sound Festival.
